  1. Second, download the free StumbleUpon extension for Firefox. Once you have downloaded the extension, you will need to close and restart Firefox.

  2. After you restart, click on the stumble button at the top of your browser. You will be asked to set-up a free account (we recommend using a registration email).

  3. Select the categories of webpages you are interested in viewing. When you are done, click the Create my account button. You will be taken to a page that explains to you how to use the stumble button and toolbar to discover and share interesting sites on the web.

  4. From now on, to discover websites that other people thought were interesting in your selected categories, you can click the stumble button on your toolbar.

A little more

Have you ever wanted to discover interesting sites on the web, but didn’t know how to look for them? The free stumble button may be the solution for you. In essence, stumble is a social recommendation service - people add sites they find interesting to the stumble database, for all members of the stumble community to encounter.

Simply click stumble every time you want to be taken to a random website other people on the web found interesting. If you like a site you are viewing, you can click the thumbs up sign to share it with the stumble community. If you don’t like a site, vote thumbs down. That’s it!
