My wife and I had a horrible experience with Air France recently where she waited an hour on the line (twice!) waiting to talk to a human being at their normal 800 number (800 237 2747). After finally thinking to check my frequent flyer card, I realized it had another number. When we called that one (800 375 8723), we got right through. Hint: they didn’t ask for a frequent flyer number when we called, so it seems anyone could use it.
