Another good thing about coupon sites is that they usually have a forum where members post freebies. The whole community thing gets really addictive. I usually hit the online instant win contests for a while, then I’m looking for freebies…

As far as #6, sometimes you have to click through the link on the site to get the coupon savings, even if no code is involved. I had one like this for 1800flowers.com, and I only got the discount if I clicked through the link at a specific site…

Another thing I’ve found with the bigger name coupon sites is that they only post coupons that the stores supply them with. If you hit the smaller sites (further down the list in the search engine results) you might find that the site owners have personally visited the sites and found some new ways to save.
